Looking back on my early years now, I have to say that I was lucky.

At the time, however, I didn’t see it that way. From the age of 13 till I was nearly 17, I was bullied and told nobody about how bad it was. The culmination ended in an event that I now know showed how much I had lost of myself.

I didn’t realise at the time, but the bullying had got so bad and my self-preservation instincts were so damaged that having a knife thrown at my head didn’t matter – I no longer cared whether I lived.

When I left school, I continued to be a passenger in my own life, drifting from one thing to the next and allowing every external person and thing to push me around. I also felt a deep need to be accepted by others and this led me to be the ultimate ‘yes’ man.

The years that followed saw me change into a VERY stubborn, angry man – going from one extreme to another! It wasn’t until much later in life that I began to focus inwards and ask myself some really tough questions:

Why am I always angry at everyone around me?

Why do I always agree to something, even when I don’t want to?

Why am I angry all the time – it’s exhausting!

What is the point?

Why am I like this?

Why? Why? Why? Why?

The questions were there, but the answers took another few years to appear.

I have spent years researching, practicing, observing and learning how to become a better, calmer, and happier person. I choose to be optimistic, even when things do not go quite the way i would like them to.

I choose to meditate and breathe and to be a better person than I was yesterday.

The more I learnt, the more I began to understand that I had lots of work to do on myself. So over the years, little by little I began to change my outlook, my habits and the way I thought about life.

As time passed I began to see the same conflicts in others and decided to help them if I could. And so began a mission to help the people I saw around me that were struggling with their emotional state and not being able to live their lives to its fullest potential.

In 2016 I designed a course which combined all the elements I had found helped me and began using it to help others. It began with friends and colleagues, they began to see real change in their lives and began laying their emotional ghosts of the past to rest.

Sometimes we tend to get carried away with our emotional state.

Sometimes we are dragged along on an emotional roller coaster and we feel that we have no control.

Sometimes events happen and we are overwhelmed with strong emotions that take over us completely and we struggle to cope.

And sometimes we are on the receiving end of events that can shape our lives and our futures.

If any of these statements sound familiar, then please get in touch. I want to help you find a better, calmer way of living your life so that you are no longer just an unwilling passenger on an emotional roller coaster.
